What do you need from me to start?
Access to your Squarespace account (or an invite), your logo (if you have one), brand colors/fonts (or examples you like), your page content (even rough bullet points), and any images you want included.
How long does it take?
Once I have your content and access, most builds move quickly. Delays usually come from missing text/images, waiting on approvals, or additional pages/products beyond the package scope.
How many revisions are included?
Two revision rounds are included.
A “revision round” means you review the full site once and send all changes in a single message.
Additional rounds or ongoing tweaks can be added as an add-on.
Do you write the copy?
You provide the core content (even if it’s rough). I’ll polish it for clarity, structure, and consistency.
Full copywriting from scratch is available separately.
Do you provide images or photography?
You provide images (brand photos, product photos, team photos, etc.).
If you don’t have images, we can use free stock options where appropriate.
Paid stock, custom photography, and heavy image editing can be bought as an add-on.
Is the Squarespace subscription included?
No. You pay Squarespace directly for the plan you choose.
Domain costs (if you’re buying a new domain) are also paid directly by you.
Will you connect my domain?
Yes, I can connect your domain to Squarespace as part of the build, as long as you provide access to your domain registrar (or you follow the steps with me).
What pages are included in the $350 informational site?
Up to 5 pages (common examples: Home, About, Services, Work/Portfolio, Contact).
If you need more pages, you can add them as an add-on.
What’s included in the $500 ecommerce site?
Store + checkout setup, payments connection, and up to 15 products added (with the details and photos you provide).
It also includes the same core setup as the informational site (design, mobile optimization, basic SEO, and launch).
Can you add more than 15 products?
Yes. More products can be added as an add-on, or we can quote a custom package depending on catalog size and complexity.
Do you set up shipping and taxes?
I’ll configure a basic setup suitable for simple stores.
Complex shipping rules, international tax configurations, or specialized compliance requirements are not included.
Will my site be mobile-friendly?
Yes. Squarespace templates are responsive, and I’ll optimize layout, spacing, and navigation for mobile.
Do you set up SEO?
Basic on-page SEO is included (titles, meta descriptions, clean URLs, and image alt text when provided).
Advanced SEO strategy (keyword research, content plan, link building) is not included.
Do you set up analytics and tracking?
Basic connection is possible, but detailed tracking implementations are handled under the “Data” services (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager).
If you want proper event tracking, conversion setup, and reporting, that’s a separate service.
Do you offer maintenance after launch?
Not included by default. If you want ongoing updates, monthly maintenance and content edits are available as a separate service.
What’s not included in these packages?
Custom-coded features, complex integrations, full brand identity work, copywriting from scratch, advanced SEO strategy, paid assets, ongoing maintenance, and Squarespace/domain subscription fees.
Can I upgrade later from informational to ecommerce?
Yes. We can upgrade your Squarespace plan and add ecommerce functionality later.
The additional setup work would be quoted based on what needs to be added (products, checkout settings, shipping/tax, etc.).
